Communication, Insights, User Feedback - The 17th MAGMA Greater China User Meeting was successfully held in Ningbo!
On December 2nd, 2021, the 17th MAGMA Greater China User Meeting took place in Ningbo. This is the first time for MAGMA China to hold the UGM in a city other than Suzhou.
Firstly, the General Manager of MAGMA China, Dr. Moritz Weidt, gave his opening speech. He reviewed MAGMA China's work throughout 2021 from marketing to academy, and support. He welcomed the new customers and staff who joined the big MAGMA family in 2021. Besides, the Managing Director of MAGMA Germany, Mr. Mathieu Weber – MAGMA China’s former General Manager until June 2021, sent a video greeting from the MAGMA headquarter.
Next, ten technical reports covering various processes like HPDC, LPDC, or gravity sand casting were presented and shared by MAGMASOFT® users during this meeting. As every year, user presentations made up the major part of the UGM. As a special contribution, Dr. Fengxin Mao from MAGMA’s R&D department in Germany shared an insight into the daily operation of MAGMA’s R&D department and the latest development activities for heat treatment of steel and aluminum alloys.
To conclude this exciting and insightful day, Dr. Weidt gave his closing speech where he gave an outlook onto the development roadmap of MAGMASOFT. He also presented previews of marketing, academy, and support activities planned for 2022. Finally, Mr. Weidt wished everybody a safe trip back home and a healthy start into the next year.
Due to the impact of the current epidemic, the 2021 User Group Meeting had to be shortened from 1.5 days to a one-day program. MAGMA China thanks all participants who joined the annual User Group Meeting despite the necessary last-minute changes and we appreciate your trust and continuous support.
