About the course:

This workshop is customized based on a customer’s process or alloy type and presented to a small group to facilitate better communication and understanding of how simulation can be integrated into an organization. It provides the foundation to evaluate MAGMASOFT® simulation results. This activity will help you to decide which MAGMASOFT® results to use for your project analysis.

Course Overview :

  •  Interpretation of simulation results
  • Application of Autonomous Engineering
  • MAGMASOFT® advanced settings
  •  Case studies

By the end of this session the direct user should be able to :

  • View and analyze the simulation results and ultimately solve casting defects
  • Further study of MAGMASOFT® advanced settings and application of autonomous optimization

Who should attend

  • MAGMASOFT® users(Priority)
  • Engineers, designers, technicians working in a casting environment or professional who work with  sand mold or die  casting processes.

Location

  • MAGMA Engineering (Suzhou) Co., Ltd    MAGMAacademy

Prerequisites:      Basic and Process I trainings or Basic II and Intensive Class Process Trainings

Course Level:      Advanced

Duration:   1+1 days

Course Fee: 1. 900€ + 6%VAT / person / day or
                      2. 1500€ + 6%VAT / company / day
                      3. 50% discount for customers having a valid Maintenance and Support Agreement

About the course:

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of how to use inverse optimization and you will practice using user-specific results ('User Results') to simulate and optimize with MAGMASOFT®. By using inverse optimization, you will calculate how to better adjust the boundary conditions of the simulation model to the actual process conditions based on measurements obtained in the foundry. This allows you to better adapt the simulation results to the actual process.

Course Overview :

  • Set up an inverse optimization
  • Possible use cases for inverse optimization
  • Fundamental aspects of 'User Results'
  • Standardization of 'User Results' in your daily workflows

By the end of this session the direct user should be able to :

  • Set-up inverse optimization and 'User Results'
  • Adapt the simulation results to the actual process

Who should attend

  • MAGMASOFT® users(Priority)
  • Engineers, designers, technicians working in a casting environment or professional who work with  sand mold or die  casting processes.
