MAGMAacademy held their first offline seminar of 2020 in Suzhou

On September 17-18, 2020, MAGMAacademy held their first offline seminar of this year in Suzhou. More than 80 participants followed MAGMA China’s invitation and the heavy rain could not diminish the enthusiasm of the audience.

This seminar named “Foundry Know-How and Simulation Best-Practices in Castings” covered the interpretation and analysis of MAGMASOFT® simulation results. The influence of process variables on casting quality was explained in detail and the root cause of casting defect formation was shown through analysis of industrial case studies.

Experts from MAGMAacademy shared their skills of using MAGMASOFT® through related case studies to the participants. The atmosphere of the seminar was warm and the academic exchange was strong. Through interesting presentations and interested discussions, participants could directly get useful information about the efficient use of MAGMASOFT®.

The feedback of the attendants at the end of the seminar was very encouraging. They stated that they gained many new beneficial aspects and are now even better prepared to solve their daily challenges. They also gave MAGMA China the feeling that continuous learning and exchange of knowledge how to improve casting quality with MAGMASOFT® is important. This confirms the plan of MAGMAacademy in China to soon prepare another seminar with more interesting knowledge for their customers.
